Background media: This publication presents the mid-term evaluation of a program addressing gender-based violence in Jamaica. It examines the country’s ongoing GBV crisis, the social and systemic factors contributing to violence against women and girls, and the effectiveness of current prevention, protection, and support efforts. The report shares findings, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations to improve services, strengthen accountability, and promote lasting changes in gender norms.
