WHY ELECTIONS MATTER

Regardless of who forms our next government, we need to make sure they are committed to ending poverty and driving forward progress on gender equality, both here at home and on the world stage. Why? Because we know that unequal power relations are the underlying drivers of inequality, poverty and suffering – and this is a deeply political matter. We all have a part to play in ensuring that our government helps build a more equal Canada and a better world. Will you take action now?

What’s your pledge?

This federal election, we are asking people across Canada to take our election pledge. Commit to one of the options below and help us demonstrate that people in Canada care about ending the injustice of poverty and standing up for women’s rights.
