Amplify Change is an important project in our work toward women's transformative leadership.
While women and girls' rights have improved in Afghanistan, these hard-won gains are fragile. Too few women are meaningfully involved in peace talks, and too many women and girls remain at risk of violence.
Oxfam works with local civil society organizations in Afghanistan to amplify women’s voices, hold the government to account to enforce national and international laws on women’s rights, prevent violence against women and girls, work toward women's economic empowerment through vocational training and advocate on women’s rights policy. We are bringing women to the table to share their perspective and secure their rights.
