Susan Tomovcik has convinced her community to dig deep. Deep enough to build a well or two. She has been raising funds to help people in East Africa  suffering from drought and famine.

The Old Spaghetti Factory recently raised funds to help the people suffering from drought in East Africa.

For the families, the Ifo II refugee camp near Dadaab in northern Kenya offers security and stability after weeks of hunger, thirst, risk and trauma.

In a climate-changed world, East Africans are now suffering droughts every year or two, allowing no time to rebound from disaster – leaving them much more vulnerable to the next.
