Calgary Flames Captain Jarome Iginla and Cassie Campbell, two-time Olympic gold medalist and former Captain of the Canadian women’s hockey team with Oxfam Canada’s Executive Director Robert Fox after presenting a cheque for $27,000.

Oxfam was this year’s charity recipient of funds raised at the Jarome Iginla/Cassie Campbell Hockey School for kids in Calgary. The cheque was presented at the sponsor’s dinner on July 10, 2008. It was a great opportunity to spread Oxfam Canada’s message about poverty and the rights of women and girls around the world.

Oxfam thanks Jarome and Cassie as well as all of the instructors for their generosity and support!
