CHANGE Initiative 2009/10

Apply by April 30 to join the Oxfam Canada youth CHANGE Initiative, a year long program that trains and supports postsecondary students to become actively engaged in Oxfam Canadaʼs social justice mission to build lasting solutions to global poverty and injustice.

Canadian Youth Join a Global Force for Change

Globally, young people are amongst those most affected by poverty and injustice. Oxfam believes that youth have an important role in making positive and sustainable change and has launched the International Youth Partnership Program, a global network to empower young leaders.

Oxfam Campus Clubs
There are Oxfam student clubs from coast to coast, including hundreds of youth members active in campaigning, raising awareness and funds to support Oxfam's work.

4Real is a TV series that takes celebrity guests on adventures around the world to connect with young leaders. Oxfam Canada is working with Direct Current Media, the shows producers, to promote these real heroes and to connect Canadian youth with real ways to make change happen. 4Real can be seen on CTV, MTV Canada and internationally on National Geographic TV.
