Supporting survivors of rape

Sexual and gender-based violence is a prevalent problem in South Africa. Among the many organizations we support in the country dealing with these issues, Rape Crisis Cape Town Trust (RCCTT) provides services to both female and male survivors of rape. They provide face to face counseling, and counseling for partners, family and friends of survivors. They also play an important lobbying and advocacy role, including pressing for changes and passage of the Sexual Offences Bill that's languished on the table since 1996.
