Hear the Voices from the Learning Exchanges!
Oxfam partner organizations from Southern Africa are in Canada as part of an Oxfam project funded by Health Canada's HIV/AIDS Global Engagement Grants Program.
The exchange program involved visits to Halifax,
Toronto and Ottawa for the women to participate in a series of
awareness-raising and learning events.
A learning forum took place in Halifax
on November 30th, focused on exploring the links between culture,
gender and HIV and AIDS and also involved a panelist from Healing our Nation.

A second learning forum took place in Toronto on
December 4th, focused on women's leadership in the context of HIV
and AIDS, and also involved a panelist from the Canadian AIDS Treatment
Information Exchange (CATIE).
