An annual gathering of Oxfam members, including workshops on Women's Rights and Development, presentations on Oxfam's work around the world, campaign training, governance dialogue and more!

The Regional Assembly will be an inspiring reflection on the work that Oxfam has been involved with locally, nationally, and overseas this past year. During the course of the weekend, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about Oxfam BC/Yukon's two major campaigns for 2008/2009 (We Can, a coalition campaign to end violence against women, and our Public Services - For All - Fight Poverty campaign) and how you can become involved with these campaigns;
  • Meet two of our international program partnersand learn about the latest news about Oxfam's work nationally and overseas;
  • Participate in interactive sessions led by Oxfam working group and campus group leaders;
  • Dialogue with Oxfam Canada's Executive Director Robert Fox and the BC members of Oxfam Canada's Board of Directors and;
  • Participate in the elections for the 2008-2009 Regional Steering Committee.
