Oxfam Groups

There are dozens of local Oxfam member groups  in communities and on campuses across Canada. Groups work on Oxfam campaigns, raise awareness and funds and participate in Oxfam special projects. 

While there are many kinds of groups that work on Oxfam initiatives, official Oxfam Groups are chartered by Oxfam's Regional Steering Committees. The work of member groups is an important part of Oxfam's program in Canada and makes an important contribution to our work overseas.

An advantage of being involved in a local Oxfam group is that you will meet other like minded individuals in your community. Most people find inspiration in working with others and being able to connect with other Oxfam members in their community. To find a group in your area, contact your Oxfam regional office.
