Imagine you can't read or write - would it hold you back?

Every day, millions of people miss out on going to school, which means they miss out on the chance to live out of poverty. Oxfam believes this scandal must end - and that means having education services that are free, public and have enough teachers.

In fact, 72 million children and 774 million adults are being denied this right.

Oxfam isn`t fighting for these basic rights on its own. As part of the Global Campaign for Education, we're joining in to help break the World`s Biggest Lesson.
