Join other new Oxfam Canada volunteers to find out how you can make change in issues of food justice, gender justice and the environment!
Have you ever wanted to volunteer with Oxfam Canada or learn more about the organization?
Well, here is your opportunity!
Come join us on Saturday, February 4th from 1-4pm for our first volunteer intake session of 2012.
The intake session will include:
- Oxfam 101 Presentation
- Update on the GROW Campaign
- Break-out Discussion Groups
- Information on how to get involved with the various Oxfam working groups (Vancouver committee, campus clubs, etc).
- A short video on Oxfam's work during the 2011 Pakistan Floods
- Meet and mingle with experienced volunteers
Coffee/tea and light refreshments will be provided.
