Hunger Banquets are a part of Oxfam Canada’s Hungry4Change program which combines experiential education on food and gender justice with an opportunity to fundraise to support Oxfam’s work. These evening-long events are a great opportunity to invite your family and friends to learn more about Oxfam’s work and their focus on women and food.

This Toronto event is a collaboration between Oxfam groups at the University of Toronto, University of Toronto Scarborough and the Oxfam Ontario Regional Steering Committee.

For ongoing and updated details, check out the Oxfam Hunger Banquet event blog.

A semi-formal dinner with keynote speaker Robert Fox who will discuss the issues surrounding global insecurity. The event will take place March 23, 2012 at Beverley Halls, starting at 6:30pm.

The Hunger Banquet is a popular dinner event that aims to promote awareness of global food security issues and raise funds for the valuable work done by Oxfam in this field. This marks our third annual event which also includes inspirational and informative speakers and talented musicians. Aside from being relevant and informative, the Hunger Banquet is an enjoyable evening of socializing, dining, a silent auction and enjoying some fantastic live music.
